We’re Michia and Janice—an entrepreneurial couple building cinematic personal brands in Tokyo. We’re looking to partner with a visionary creative to help build our local brand machine.

What You’ll Do:

• Craft and Build our Cinematic Universe: Set the visual style, tone, and narrative for our content across platforms.

• Run a Lean Team: Hire and manage a tight crew of creative talent to produce short form and long form content.

• Get Hands-On: Shoot footage, edit cuts, or lead meetings as needed—expect to jump in, not just delegate.

• Design the Machine: Build and maintain a system to hit deadlines and scale output without breakdowns.

Who You Are:

• Multi-Skilled Creative: You can strategize campaigns, storyboard shoots, and oversee production end-to-end.

• Visual Expert: You nail cinematic shots and edits that grab attention fast.

• Process-Driven: You create order from scratch and keep a team on track.

• Bonus: You’ve scaled a brand, run an agency, or blown up a channel.

What You Bring:

• Social Knowledge: Finger on the pulse of what’s working now on social platforms.

• Toolset: Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects), DaVinci Resolve, cinema cameras (e.g., Sony, Canon).

• Drive: Evidence you’ve pioneered or executed something standout in Japan or elsewhere.

• Bonus: You’re bilingual or fluent in Japanese.
